“A frequent source of inspiration for my designs comes from organic shapes and textures found in the natural world — from the asymmetry of an imperfectly soft-boiled egg to the complex patterns of bumps and divots of the avocado skin, the particular challenges inherent in these designs were super exciting to work through. While quite different from each other, they also work together (gastronomically and physically) so very well; a fitting combination to represent and support friendship across the globe. Not to mention, these are two staples I eat practically every day. 

JOE’s idea of embracing connection and bringing people together really resonated with me, as so much of my own inspiration comes from the connections all around me. In this “hyper-digital” time, I find it increasingly important to forge genuine inter-personal connections with those around us.
